WHAT IF WE COULD
STOP HURRICANES BEFORE THEY START?

2 Oceans is working to develop a technique and technology for interfering with and preventing the formation of hurricanes by beaming microwaves from a System of Solar Power Satellites (SSPS) onto non-symmetrical portions of a tropical depression (which is a precursor to a tropical storm and then a hurricane) to destabilize it as it is trying to organize.  When not focused on a tropical depression, the microwaves can be beamed onto a solar farm on earth to generate green power in the form of electricity.

MAKING WAVES ON EARTH

At 2 Oceans, we’re committed to finding hurricane solutions that make sense on a global scale. That includes helping those in coastal zones:

  • Find reassurance that their livelihoods are protected
  • Know that there's hope for their communities
  • Live without fear of devastating storms
  • Live without fear of serious injury or death

Our forward-thinking research and hurricane-prevention concept represents not only our own work but also the potential for future collaborations.

  • Testing and studies with government agencies and leading universities
  • Gathering resources from colleagues and investors
  • Licensing patents to encourage further innovation

2 Oceans is the brainchild of Bruce Morton, a noted aerospace engineer and rocket scientist with a wealth of expertise in aerospace, defense and beyond.
