2 Oceans is working to develop a technique and technology for interfering with and preventing the formation of hurricanes by beaming microwaves from a System of Solar Power Satellites (SSPS) onto non-symmetrical portions of a tropical depression (which is a precursor to a tropical storm and then a hurricane) to destabilize it as it is trying to organize. When not focused on a tropical depression, the microwaves can be beamed onto a solar farm on earth to generate green power in the form of electricity.
At 2 Oceans, we’re committed to finding hurricane solutions that make sense on a global scale. That includes helping those in coastal zones:
Our forward-thinking research and hurricane-prevention concept represents not only our own work but also the potential for future collaborations.
